SUPERIOR HARDWARE
We only use high-quality, high-performance materials and hardware when constructing our steel buildings, setting us apart from virtually any other metal building company. For example, industry-standard screws are zinc plated for moderate corrosion resistance, but we only use Crypton-coated screws, which are proven to deliver as much as 100 times the corrosion resistance when compared with zinc-plated screws. This means that our steel buildings last far longer in salty coastal environments or in other corrosive applications.
STRONGER TUBING
In the metal building industry, everyone uses square steel tubing for the framework of the structure due to its high strength, low weight, and versatility. The structural integrity of a steel building depends on using high-quality tubing, and Choice Metal never cuts corners. We only use steel tubing from manufacturing partners who use a smooth-radius bend rather than a traditional crush bend, which results in far more strength and durability in the metal building.
TESTED FOR CORROSION RESISTANCE
While steel is a superb structural material due to high strength at low weight, it is susceptible to corrosion and rust in wet and salty environments. Other metal building companies are willing to use lesser-graded steel to lower their costs, but at Choice Metal, we only choose for quality and performance. Every component we put into our steel buildings has been carefully tested and chosen for durability and corrosion resistance. In fact, our coated steel tubing stood up to 1,000 hours of direct salt spray in a lab test without showing the slightest sign of rust or corrosion.
